1. Do delete junk e-mail messages without opening them
2. Do reply emails which you are certain comes from a legitimate source.
( especially those which request for you to reply with the text " Remove me from this list"
3. Do be wary about giving your personal information in an e-mail or instant message
4. Do think twice before opening attachements or clicking links in e-mail or instant
messages, even if you know the sender. If you must open an attachement that you
are unsure of, save it to your hard disk first so that your antivirus software
can check it before you open it.
5. Don't buy anything or give to any charity promoted through spam.
